Notes: This story takes place in a human!AU off-shoot of my other fic, "Speech Therapy." It takes place after RotF and, no, I don't know why they're human, so don't ask. Also, the base is clearly not in Diego Garcia in this, but oh well. I wanted there to be snow.

My family is Catholic. We celebrate the four weeks of Advent, each of which revolves around a certain theme. Though this story contains no mention of religion, I’ve written the four short stories comprising the overall story to each focus on one of these themes, even if it only does so in a small way.

Notes: Hi! I bet you guys thought I forgot about this story. Or I bet you guys forgot about it. Or something. In any case, it's FINISHED now, after long last.

I'm not so sure about the ending of it; I doesn't seem up to speed with the rest of the story or something. I guess that's what happens when you forget about a project for five months. But I kind of like it, too.
